Utility Warehouse (UW), the UK’s leading multiservice utility provider, has appointed Sarah Henning as its new Energy Director. With a distinguished background as Commercial Director at Hastings Direct and prior roles at OVO, Tonik Energy, Centrica, and E.ON, Sarah brings a wealth of industry experience. Her mandate at UW includes steering commercial performance, fostering energy supplier partnerships, and strategically aligning the company with its goal of adding the company’s next one million customers in the next four to five years.
Utility Warehouse is excited to announce that Sarah Henning is now their Energy Director. Sarah has a lot of experience in the industry, having worked at Hastings Direct as a Commercial Director, OVO as a Commercial Finance Director, and Tonik Energy as Chief Commercial Officer. She’s also been part of various roles at Centrica and E.ON.
At Utility Warehouse, Sarah will lead efforts to improve how the company do business and work with energy suppliers. Her main goal is to help Utility Warehouse to add another 1 million customers in the next four to five years.
Sarah will also focus on figuring out how UW can make their energy strategy better, especially in the changing energy market and as the company works towards being Net Zero. At the same time, she’ll make sure UW meet and beat their targets for installing smart meters, as set by Ofgem.
Sarah’s appointment comes at a time when UW’s customer numbers have gone up by almost 160,000, reaching a total of 887,000. UW shared this impressive growth in their latest update in April.
Utility Warehouse look forward to having Sarah Henning on board to help the company to keep growing and providing great service to their customers.
