Who’s Eligible?
Eligibility is simple:
New customers must be UK homeowners and sign up via a UW Partner, taking energy plus at least one other eligible service (such as mobile, broadband, or insurance).
Take two services? Get 1 Free Energy Day/month for 3 months.
Take three or more? Get 2 Free Energy Days/month for 12 months. (Offer doubled until 31 July 2025.)
Existing customers can also benefit by adding services:

The Free Energy Club from Utility Warehouse (UW) is an innovative customer rewards initiative that gives eligible customers Free Energy Days — credits equivalent to a full day’s worth of energy usage. By bundling UW services, customers earn these credits monthly, automatically applied to their bills. For example, customers who take three or more eligible services (including energy) can currently receive 24 Free Energy Days over 12 months, offering a total annual saving of over £120. This initiative is designed to provide ongoing savings without requiring customers to change their habits, making it one of the most customer-friendly energy rewards in the UK market.
To qualify for Free Energy Days, homeowners must sign up to UW energy and bundle it with other eligible services such as broadband, mobile (including second SIM), or insurance products like Boiler & Home Cover or Income Protector. New customers need to sign up via a UW Partner and take at least two services — one of which must be energy. Existing customers can also qualify by adding two or more eligible services in a single month. Importantly, the account must be paid via Direct Debit and remain in good standing to maintain eligibility for ongoing Free Energy Day credits.
Each Free Energy Day is calculated based on Ofgem’s average annual energy consumption and current price cap levels, then divided by 365 to represent a day’s worth of usage. At current rates, customers bundling three or more services can receive two Free Energy Days per month for 12 months, saving over £120 per year. These savings are applied automatically as monthly bill credits, making it effortless for customers to reduce their energy costs over time without changing how or when they use energy in their home.
Currently, Free Energy Days are only available to UW customers who receive a monthly energy bill and pay via Direct Debit. This means prepayment meter customers without additional services are not eligible. However, if a prepayment customer adds other UW services (such as broadband or mobile) and pays for those by Direct Debit, they may become eligible for the Free Energy Club. This ensures that bundled customers receive the same valuable rewards, regardless of their energy usage type — so long as the monthly billing criteria are met.
Free Energy Days are credited to the customer’s monthly UW bill and appear under the section titled “Other credits & debits” within the “My Itemisation” area. The credit is a flat amount based on average consumption, not actual daily usage, and is automatically deducted from the monthly total. Customers are also notified via email how many Free Energy Days they’ve earned upon sign-up or when qualifying services are added. This transparency ensures customers can clearly see the benefits and track their ongoing savings throughout the year.
If a UW customer becomes ineligible — for example, by cancelling one or more bundled services, falling into debt, or leaving UW altogether — any unused Free Energy Days will be forfeited and no longer credited. UW requires that customers maintain their bundle and account status in good standing to continue receiving monthly Free Energy Day credits. However, once the required services are reinstated or the account returns to good standing, eligibility may be restored for future Free Energy Day rewards based on UW’s current terms.
