Virtual getting started training from Utility Warehouse helping new UW Partners to get started
Senior Management at Utility Warehouse are again leading the field with their Covid-19 response by launching an interactive virtual getting started training course. Prior to all of the social distancing measures, Utility Warehouse offered free classroom training to their UW Partners. Important amongst the available courses was the College of Excellence Getting Started training. Virtual Getting Started offers a three hour live online alternative and alongside the company’s excellent online training, takes a focused look at all the skills that are needed to build a successful UW business.
The new Virtual Getting Started training is open to all UW Partners and is streamed online from Network HQ by two senior UW Partners. Attendees benefit from one-to-one practice sessions, along with individually tailored support.
Training includes:
- How to quickly build a list of potential Members
- What to say to prospects to get your first appointments
- The importance of explaining ‘your story’ – why you started your UW business
- How to confidently present UW to your friends and family
- How to sign up Members online
UW Partner training is led by successful Partners
All Utility Warehouse training courses (both online and in the classroom) is delivered by successful Partners who are still growing their UW businesses. By attending a classroom session, new UW Partners get the opportunity to learn from people who have been in their position and can share what it really takes to build a successful Utility Warehouse business.
New UW Partners are not allowed to sign up customers on your own without support until they have completed their online Getting Started training, which can be accessed 24/7 via the company’s Learning Portal. This initial online training consists of six online training modules, pus an important energy services declaration. The online version of Getting Started also takes around three hours to complete.
