100% renewable fixed energy tariff strengthens Utility Warehouse’s position as one of the UK’s greenest energy suppliers.
More UK households can go green with their electricity from 16th March 2020 as Utility Warehouse launch their 100 renewable electricity fixed energy tariff. This almost certainly makes the Utility Warehouse one of the UK’s greenest energy providers.
On top of this the Utility Warehouse offer a free LED light bulb service, where they replace every light bulb in a customers house with the latest energy efficient LED light bulbs. This results in around 15% less energy consumption on average. These light bulbs are guaranteed for life for as long as a customer remains with the Utility Warehouse. Thus far, 150,000 homes have benefited for this green energy benefit.
Smart meters are another way to go-green – on average resulting in another 4% energy reduction as customers become more aware of their energy use and adjust their habits.
Utility Warehouse have taken their green energy commitment a stage further through the newly launched UW Foundation, which is aiming to plant around 100,000 trees this year on behalf of their customers.
