Have you ever found yourself not just the target of a couple of wayward comments from friends or family, but shunned by a whole group of people who you thought were chums? Could you push on, realise that these people aren’t real friends, and then make a success of this business? Yes you can! And Katie Nell is living proof!
She’s had the displeasure of snide comments and people looking the other way, in a strange community of ‘ladies who lunch’ who were distressed that Katie seemed to want to do more than just play tennis and drink coffee. And she decided to ignore it. Doesn’t matter, doesn’t matter, doesn’t matter.
She proved them wrong! Today she and her team achieved SENIOR TEAM LEADER! So not only does she have this achievement to prove herself right, she has her Mini in the driveway too!
She’ll be delighted to achieve this on a day when she’s thrilled that one of her team, Denver Lloyd, qualified for his first UW holiday. Mum-of-three Katie, married to the very supportive Phillip, is a friend to many, and a great cross-team networker. She gets on with it, despite not having an active upline leg, and proves that if it is to be, it is up to me!
She was great friends with Gary Murray, and although there’s some sadness for her that she didn’t get that call from Gary, she knows he’ll be proudly looking down on her, and screaming ‘NELLLLLLLLLY’ at her in delight.
Well done Katie! Proving that you CAN succeed, irrespective of what other people think. Shining that light even more firmly on those ‘friends’ who have to ask themselves “what am I doing to bring significance to my life?” who won’t be liking the answer. But you did it, you’re always smiling, always positive, always supportive, and we’re proud of you!
