UW CEO says onward & upwards to Team Purple & to the the teams new movers & shakers
“Onward and upwards” says Telecom Plus PLC (UW) during his monthly team update! At Utility Warehouse, strong leadership cascades down in abundance from the company’s long-standing and highly respected CEO. Within the Network of Authorised UW Partners, leadership is embraced, empowered, and likewise respected. This is just one aspect of UW culture that has resulted in a fast-growing business opportunity (some call it a side-gig) that is so popular, appealing, and trusted. UW CEO and his head office leadership team are unusually visible throughout the distributor network through weekly leadership zoom meetings, on which several hundred of the company’s top movers and shakers have direct weekly contact with the company’s strategy, forward planning and visionary leadership. Through this channel, they can then disseminate important updates through their teams, resulting in a strong leadership structure.
UW leadership is further present and in direct contact with the UW Partner Network via monthly and sometimes more frequent video updates. As we now seem to be on our way out of the Covid-19 crisis, an update this morning is further testimony of how a strong Covid-19 response has led the Utility Warehouse strongly through the health crisis. This is so much the case, that activity is on a high and month-end recruitment figures are 25% up on last May. This is yet more evidence of how popular the UW income opportunity is and how the Utility Warehouse business opportunity thrives in times like these. Some say it is truly recession proof.
Every cloud has a silver lining
Every cloud has a silver lining. With every adversity there are seeds of opportunity. The company’s response to Covid-19 demonstrates this fact, with thousands of UW Partners who have embraced the company’s decisive move to remote working and supported appointments. This has been so successful and effective that optimism is high that these new systems will be adopted as permanent ‘tools’ for UW Partners to build their businesses. The outcome of this new approach to customer gathering has likewise resulted in strong customer growth, with some UW Partners gathering over 20 Daffi-Gold customers in the month of May. At £350 per customer in QUIP payments, that’s a very good monthly income! Aside from all these customers being able to join Utility Warehouse remotely, key to these results has been the Utility Warehouse refer-a-friend scheme, which pays referring customers £50 per Daffi-Gold customer.
It was further reported that UW’s national team of smart meter engineers are again out on the road and fitting smart meters. Alongside the fact that BT Open Reach Engineers are also up and running again means that new Utility Warehouse landlines are again being installed. It is indeed onward and upwards!
Adding some fun and incentive to lock-down being lessened, announced was a refreshing incentive for the month of June. This involves a qualification of achieving just 12 holiday points during June for an opportunity to qualify for a ‘Movers and Shakers’ incentive. The reward is to be a fantastic home-based celebration during July where qualifying Partners will be invited to take part in an evening of cocktail making with professional cocktail mixologists. This is to all be facilitated online with the company sending out exclusive cocktail making kits in the post. What a fun and refreshing idea!
As the company’s switch and save incentive comes to an end, Utility Warehouse is launching a brand new and highly competitive energy tariff. This tariff comes with free LED light bulbs, 100% renewable energy and a tree planted for every new customer.
June is set to be a record-breaking month and as UW CEO says, “Team Purple – onward and upwards.”
