Top UW Partner reaches 50,000 UW services by supporting his team of running mates
CONGRATULATIONS to this top UW Partner and all his team on achieving 50,000 UW services (group). To give you an idea of how this goes, it starts small. Just you. Then you get a running partner. Then you find some other running mates.
Some of them run with you for a while and drop out. Some of them seem to be running with you and disappear. Some of them run a couple of steps and send back their trainers. Some of them run with you and find a load of other running mates too. And some of them out-run you, and you realise you’ve found some better runners than you.
When those last two things start to happen, you start to see some growth that just wouldn’t occur if it was just you, or just you and your running mates who prefers to sun-bathe.
And to demonstrate that, his team have put on more customers and services in the last 18 months, as they did in the first 78 months! Remember this when you think it isn’t happening fast enough! But that doesn’t happen overnight… there was lots of foundational work and efforts that went on when nobody was watching.
But it isn’t just about finding other running mates – it’s about supporting, nurturing and guiding the new people that join and providing a positive culture for them to grow, shine and thrive, ensuring that everyone is able to get started with building their customer base, and showing others how to do the same. As with a couple of other teams, these guys were doing supporting before it was made attractive by the pound notes, as they bought the vision that says that the long-term residual success, the walkaway royalty incomes, come by helping all your running mates be as good as, or preferably better than you.
To his credit, around being a full-time Daddy who is under no illusions as to how difficult and testing that is especially under lock-down when his wife is working on the front-line as a nurse with the NHS, is always pushing and supporting his team, and whilst no slouch himself, his ‘Nelson Mandela leadership’ approach of helping push everyone out ahead of him so they can grow in confidence and encourage their team to do the same, has been great to watch. He ran ahead for many years to prove it can be done. As time goes by, he then ran with them when they need company. And he is happy to run behind them when they need support and the extra push, and to make sure people don’t fall away.
Well done to everyone, and doubtless the next 50,000 will come much quicker than the first. Very proud of you all!
